What to Expect at Great American Craft Fairs

Communication:
-All communication must be done via gacfoffice@gmail.com – we do not communicate by phone.

Refunds:
-No booth fee refunds, except if your application is rejected.

Setup:
-Instructions emailed within 14 days of acceptance.
-Booth spaces assigned at check-in.
-Canopies must be secured with stakes or weights. No stakes on concrete.
-Missing weights or stakes? Rental required for $75 (no exceptions).
-Food vendors must be ready for inspections starting at 9:30 AM.

Festival Policies:
-Early breakdown is prohibited.
-Respect staff and volunteers — disrespect may lead to removal.
-Trash and cardboard must go in dumpsters. Do not leave waste behind.
-No pets during setup, event, or breakdown.
-No power or water provided — plan accordingly.

Parking:
-Vendor parking in designated lots; map provided 7 days before event.
One vehicle per vendor in the lot; additional vehicles must park offsite.

Sales Tax:
-California: Submit a Sellers ID at least 30 days before the event. No ID = no setup, no refund.
-Nevada: Complete one-time sales tax form at check-in; submit forms and payment by event close. Vendors with NV tax ID submit as normal.

THIS IS REQUIRED FOR ALL CALIFORNIA EVENTS. Please apply for one online and submit to us by email at least 30 days prior to event
Only handmade applicants will be accepted. No commercial products allowed. This includes t-shirts, tumblers, 3D prints, or any items not personally made by the artist. All items must be handmade arts and crafts by the artist. Even if you have vended in the past, applications that do not meet these requirements will not be accepted.
Please note that your application will be rejected and a $25 application fee will be charged if the products you submit are not handmade by you. This policy includes items such as t-shirts, tumblers, 3D prints, and similar products. All items sold must be personally made by the seller. Applications that do not meet this requirement will not be accepted.
