The Great American Parade is for everybody. Whether you’re a business trying to breakthrough, a voice that wants to be heard, or a family trying to start your own tradition, Great American Parade is guaranteed to have something for you.
PARADE THEME: Please decorate your cars, boats, floats with American Pride.
PARADE DATE: Sunday, July 4th, 2021, at 10:00 a.m.
PARADE ROUTE: Follow Arlington Avenue South from Parking lot on 2nd Street, left onto Court Street.
FLOAT COMPETITION: Floats will be judged during the Parade for use of the theme, use of
color, and originality. The judges’ stand will be at Wingfield Park on Arlington Avenue.
Float awards will be announced at the Wingfield Park Amphitheatre following the parade.
FLOAT REQUIREMENTS: Float length not to exceed 55 ft.; Float height not to exceed 15 ft.;
Float width not to exceed 9 ft.
– All materials must be able to stand up to rain or wind.
– Music on floats is welcome.
EMERGENCY VEHICLES: Please complete an entry form. NO LOUD SIRENS PERMITTED. Decorated vehicles welcome!
ANIMALS: HORSES MUST BE BAGGED or have clean-up person.
NO THROWING OF CANDY ALLOWED
NO FIRE ALLOWED
NO DISPLAYS OF HATE WILL BE TOLDERATED
